Chelsea's most expensive star Enzo Fernandez tries to win back wife after leaving her

The couple, who share two children, were spotted together recently in London, fueling speculation of a reconciliation after their separation in November, ending their six-year marriage. At that time, Fernandez expressed the desire to live alone and enjoy the single life that he was missing out on after starting a family early.

Journalist Daniel Fava revealed on American TV show "A la Tarde" that Fernandez is now determined to win Cervantes back.

"In the last few hours, there's been a reconciliation with his ex-partner Valentina Cervantes. They're giving things another go. The information I have is that Enzo Fernandez is desperately trying to win her back because he's heard that a fellow world champion is sniffing around her," Fava said.

Since the breakup, Fernandez has been romantically linked to Argentine rapper Nicki Nicole and model Candela Arizaga. However, Argentine journalist Pepe Ochoa also confirmed reports of a reunion with Cervantes, sharing the details on American TV show "LAM".

"The reconciliation was in London. They are giving love a second chance. They were seen shopping together at Selfridges and Prada. A friend of mine spotted them holding hands and even sharing a kiss. He was with his dad and his youngest child. When people started to recognize them, she went one way and he stayed inside," Ochoa said.

While neither Fernandez nor Cervantes has officially confirmed their reunion.

Speculation also went on about which of Fernandez's Argentina teammates might have shown interest in Cervantes after their split. Reports indicate that "more than one footballer" had reached out to her via social media, according to Nogomania.

Cervantes, 24, is a social media influencer with more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram. She and Fernandez got married in 2019 and have two children, Olivia, born in 2020, and Benjamin, born in 2023.

Fernandez, 24, moved to Chelsea for a transfer fee of US$138 million in 2023, making him the most expensive player in the history of the Premier League, and the fifth most-expensive player of all time.

He represented Argentina at the 2022 World Cup, playing an important role in helping his country win the tournament.
