Despite returning to his old club Santos in Brazil, Neymar has not yet secured a home near the club's facilities and has been going to training sessions by private helicopter.

According to Globo, the Brazilian superstar is considering purchasing a villa in Morro de Santa Terezinha, an affluent neighborhood in Santos.

In the meantime, Neymar is traveling approximately 500 km from Mangaratiba (Rio de Janeiro), where he currently lives with his family. Brazilian media estimates that each trip can cost nearly $600, excluding crew and maintenance expenses.

Neymar's private helicopter, purchased in 2019, can operate in adverse weather conditions, features dual engines and accommodates two pilots plus up to eight passengers with luggage.

CNN Brazil reports that Neymar has agreed to a six-month contract with Santos, taking a significant pay cut to return to Brazil from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal. The former Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona forward will earn around $168,500 per month but retain 90% of his image rights.

This arrangement is similar to the structure of his 2010–2013 contract with Santos, when he earned a base salary of roughly $50,600 per month alongside approximately $535,370 in image rights.

Santos president Marcelo Teixeira hopes Neymar will remain with the club on a long-term basis. "We expect Neymar to play for the club until the 2026 World Cup," he said. However, ESPN reports that the Brazilian star aims to return to Europe after his current contract expires.

Neymar used to be one of the best players in the world. The forward has scored 105 goals for Barcelona, 118 goals for Paris Saint-Germain and a record 79 goals for Brazil national football team. However, his move to Al Hilal in the summer of 2023 on a two-year contract with $110 million per year has faced criticism. He has only managed seven appearances and two goals for the club before injuries sidelined him for over a year.
