In a unique approach, five different mascots, collectively known as "The Sans", were introduced, each inspired by geometric shapes originating from traditional Thai motifs.
The five characters each have a unique shape and color (green, blue, yellow, pink and red), symbolizing individuality, unity and cultural diversity. According to organizers, the mascots blend modernity into Thailand's rich heritage.
Meanwhile, the 33rd SEA Games logo incorporates colored stripes reminiscent of a sports field, combined with elements of classic Thai architecture, highlighting the nation's cultural legacy. Both the logo and the mascots were designed by renowned artist Thiranop Wangsilpakun.
