Two talented half-Vietnamese players have recently obtained Vietnamese citizenship and can be called up for the SEA Games 33 in Thailand at the end of this year.
Coach Kim Sang-sik is actively scouting for overseas Vietnamese players for the upcoming tournaments. Among the promising names eligible for the SEA Games this year are midfielders Viktor Le and Andrej Nguyen An Khanh.

Viktor, 21, recently obtained Vietnamese citizenship and can now play for Hong Linh Ha Tinh FC (HLHT) as a domestic player in the second leg of the V. League season. Andrej, 19, has also secured Vietnamese nationality and met the age requirements to compete at the SEA Games 33.
Viktor has quickly demonstrated his potential when playing for HLHT. The Vietnamese-Czech midfielder boasts an ideal physique, impressive personal skills and a creative playing style. His strengths lie in controlling the game and coordinating plays, making him a valuable asset to the U22 team.

Andrej, also a Vietnamese-Czech, currently plays for FK Trinec in the Czech National Football League. He has previously returned to Vietnam and trained with the U22 national team under the guidance of former head coach Philippe Troussier.
Known for his fighting spirit and modern tactical thinking, Andrej is expected to inject energy into the midfield and increase U22 Vietnam's ability to compete against regional opponents.
SEA Games 33 is scheduled to take place in Thailand from Dec. 9 to 20 this year.
