Vietnam will begin their 2024 ASEAN Cup campaign with a match against Laos. Head-to-head records showed that Vietnam dominated Laos with 12 wins and only one draw.
However, Vietnam still need to be cautious as Laos have been making progress recently, which is reflected in their 1-1 draw with Thailand last month. In addition, Laos also have the home advantage, which means this match won't be a walk in the park for Vietnam.
