As a VIP guest seated front row at the Hermes Fall/Winter 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week on March 8, Madam Pang turned heads with her Hermes Rainy Days Faubourg Birkin, the latest release from the rare and coveted Faubourg collection.

The Hermes Faubourg Birkin replicates the architecture of the brand's iconic flagship at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, Paris. It is also the first Birkin in 20 cm size, featuring Sellier stitching, a technique traditionally used for Kelly bags. Due to its scarcity and immense demand, the model is among the most expensive Hermes bags on the secondary market, according to Sotheby’s.

The piece Madam Pang carried was the Rainy Days Faubourg, released in 2024 and crafted in crocodile and Epsom leather with a palladium lock. It is listed at $245,000 on Madison Avenue Couture.

The Snow Faubourg has a unique construction, using Togo leather for the flap and crocodile leather for the body, making it the most expensive in the series. It is listed at $350,000 on Lilac Blue London, and one was auctioned for nearly $400,000 in early 2022.

In total, Madam Pang's five Faubourg Birkin bags are worth nearly $1.3 million.

Nualphan Lamsam, known as Madam Pang, is a fifth-generation descendant of the Lamsam, one of Thailand's wealthiest families. She currently serves as chairwoman and CEO of Muang Thai Life Assurance, while also sitting on the boards of at least 16 companies with a combined valuation of about $3 billion, according to Thansettakij. Her and her husband's net worth is estimated in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

In February 2024, Madam Pang was elected FAT president with a record 93% of votes, becoming the first woman in Thailand and Asia to lead a national football federation.

From August 2021 to January 2024, she served as leader of the Thailand national football teams, personally spending over 60 million baht ($1.77 million) on rewarding the teams. Under her leadership, Thailand won back-to-back AFF Cup titles in 2021 and 2022.
