Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo's luxury private jet, valued at £61 million (US$76.6 million), was grounded at Manchester Airport due to a technical issue regarding the window.
The Bombardier Global Express 6500, bearing the CR7 logo and a silhouette of Ronaldo’s iconic celebration, was kept on the ground as of Tuesday afternoon.
According to The Sun, engineers discovered a crack in one of the jet’s windows. Repairs are pending the delivery of a replacement window, keeping the aircraft temporarily out of operation.
Ronaldo’s jet was pictured at the airport, next to the plane that carries Manchester City squad to Spain for the second leg of their Champions League play-off against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

It is unclear whether Ronaldo himself was on board when the jet landed in Manchester last Friday. The Al-Nassr captain played in a 3-2 win over Al-Ahli on Thursday before being substituted late in the match.
Ronaldo also missed Al-Nassr's AFC Champions League match on Monday, with the 40-year-old rested for the tie against Persepolis in Iran, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
The jet's presence at Manchester Airport sparked speculation among Man United fans, some of whom expressed hope for Ronaldo's return to the club for a third stint. However, there is no indication that the Portuguese superstar plans to make another comeback as he just signed a new contract with Al Nassr earlier this year.
