Vietnamese football stars, including Nguyen Van Toan and Nguyen Hoang Duc, are known for impressive collections of Bearbricks and action figures that they spent a hefty amount on.
Toan, a prominent forward who has played a key role in Vietnam's international games, proudly displays his Bearbrick collection, which is valued at billions of dong (VND1 billion = US$39,150), inside his Hanoi apartment.
Toan, 28, is considered the pioneer in collecting Bearbricks among Vietnamese footballers.
Among his prized pieces is a Javier Calleja bearbrick, worth nearly VND60 million, alongside a pink bearbrick priced at VND30 million.
A pair of Mickey Mouse bearbricks, each worth several million dong, also adds a whimsical touch to Toan's collection.
Toan's collection also features standout pieces like a purple Joker bearbrick (top) and a blue Mike bearbrick, valued at over VND20 million each.
In addition to high-end Bearbricks, Toan has recently shown interest in Baby Three, a highly collectible stuff figure ranging from a few million to tens of millions of dong each.
Star midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc, another notable Bearbrick collector, showcases his collection at his house in Hai Duong Province, with items valued at hundreds of millions of dong.
Duc also added superhero models to his collection, with each figure priced at tens of millions of dong.
National team defender Ho Tan Tai and his wife Hieu Pham also show off their selection of Bearbricks in their home in Binh Dinh Province.
Doan Van Hau and his wife Doan Hai My are also Bearbrick fans. They decorate their apartment with Bearbrick pieces, of which many were worth around VND50 million.
