According to an October 2025 report from Forbes, Ronaldo is the world's richest footballer with a net worth of US$1.4 billion. A substantial portion of this fortune comes from his contract with Saudi club Al Nassr, where he has earned a tax-free salary of over $200 million annually since 2023.
The 41-year-old striker previously built his financial empire during his stints at Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, with global business ventures and endorsement deals. He met Rodriguez in Madrid in 2016, and the couple shares two children together, alongside three children Ronaldo welcomed via surrogacy.
On the pitch, Ronaldo continues to hold the record for the most career goals scored at 965, placing him 64 goals ahead of his longtime rival Lionel Messi.
His decorated career includes five Ballon d'Or awards, four European Golden Boots and five Champions League titles, alongside major international titles like Euro 2016 and the 2019 and 2025 Nations League.
On social media, Ronaldo is the most followed person. He boasts an audience of over one billion followers across all platforms, including 673 million on Instagram, 170 million on Facebook, 113 million on X and 60 million on YouTube.
Ronaldo is currently sidelined, as he is recovering from a hamstring injury sustained during an Al Nassr match against Al Fayha on Feb. 28. He will miss Portugal's upcoming international friendlies against Mexico on March 28 and the U.S. on March 31.
