David Beckham earns $25M in a month thanks to upcoming World Cup

Sir David Beckham has raked in a staggering US$25 million in just a single month, thanks to a lucrative series of advertising contracts tied to the upcoming 2026 World Cup in North America.

Beckham has signed major promotional deals with several global brands. Despite having retired from professional football more than a decade ago, his personal brand is currently assessed as being stronger than ever. Insiders note that he can earn more money than he did during the peak of his football career, Daily Mail reported.

During his golden years on the pitch, Beckham's total income hovered around $40-45 million per year from salaries and endorsements, equivalent to over $3 million a month, according to Forbes.

Before this summer's World Cup, Beckham secured major deals with big corporations and brands, including Lay's, Fanatics, Bank of America and Verizon.

During the tournament, the football legend will also feature in advertising campaigns for McDonald's and Adidas.

According to The Mirror, Beckham's fanbase in the U.S. and South America is growing rapidly. Thanks to his playing days in Spain and his role as the co-owner of Major League Soccer club Inter Miami CF.

Beckham participated in three World Cups for England (1998, 2002 and 2006) and captained the national team 58 times. At the 2026 tournament, he will attend as an ambassador for various brands and as a former England captain. He also maintains an excellent relationship with the English Football Association and regularly supports the national team's activities.

In addition, Beckham is also involved in football development projects across the U.S. One of his most notable initiatives is his partnership with Bank of America, which aims to encourage more American children to take up the sport.

According to Daily Mail, this $25 million income is only a part of Beckham's total earnings for the year. He maintains numerous long-standing, multi-year partnerships alongside these new deals.

After hanging up his boots, Beckham quickly transitioned into a businessman and global advertising icon. He has collaborated with major names like AIA Vitality, Diageo, Coty, Tudor, Safilo Group and the Marina Bay Sands Resort.

His business ventures span fashion, perfumes, accessories, eyewear, and even video games.

Beckham has also been a dedicated UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for years, founding the 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund in 2015 to support vulnerable children worldwide. Those contributions helped earn him his knighthood last year.
