VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026 has unveiled its medal and race shirt, with designs inspired by river life in Vietnam's Mekong Delta.
The collection draws on imagery of waterways, local livelihoods, and cultural landmarks to highlight the identity of the host city.

The medal centers on themes of daily life and local culture. Its front design features a woman rowing a boat loaded with produce at Cai Rang floating market, a familiar scene that reflects the region’s trading traditions.
Surrounding the central figure is the gate of Binh Thuy communal house, a notable cultural site in Can Tho.
Decorative elements inspired by traditional roof tiles and brick patterns frame the composition, adding architectural references to the design.

On the reverse, Can Tho Bridge is depicted in a more minimal style alongside the word "Finisher." The image represents connectivity and urban development, complementing the cultural references on the front. The ribbon continues the theme with patterns inspired by local market life.
The race shirt follows a similar concept, drawing from the movement of water across the delta.
Gradients of blue, turquoise, and white run across the fabric, creating a visual effect that resembles light reflecting on a river surface.

The pattern extends from the chest downward, evoking currents and ripples. The event logo and "Can Tho 2026" are placed on the left chest, maintaining a clean overall layout.
A sleeveless singlet version is also available, offering a lighter option designed for ventilation and ease of movement in warm conditions.
According to the organizers, the designs aim to provide runners with both a functional race kit and a visual representation of Can Tho’s river-based culture.
VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026 is scheduled for May 10, with the Super Early Bird registration phase currently open.
