Outside hitter Nguyen Lan Vy of Vietnamese club Binh Dien Long An captured the "Most Popular Player" award at the 2026 VTV9 - Binh Dien International Women's Volleyball Cup, gaining recognition for both her talent and beauty.
The tournament concluded in Tay Ninh on Saturday night, with China's Jiangsu securing the championship after defeating Vietnam's Binh Dien Long An 3-0 in the final.

Earlier in the tournament, the 20-year-old (front) was also voted the player who best models traditional Vietnamese attire. She wore the ao ba ba - a distinctive traditional garment native to southern Vietnam and the Mekong Delta region, which is often paired with long pants, a checkered scarf, and a conical hat.
Standing at 1.73 meters tall, the Long An Province native began her career at the Binh Dien Long An academy. There, she developed her skills under the guidance of legendary Vietnamese volleyball player Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa. She is considered a versatile athlete with impressive jumping ability and a highly adaptable playing style.
Vy (number 16) already secured a national championship with her hometown team, as well as the 2024 Hoa Lu Cup. She is also a central figure for Vietnam's U19 and U20 national teams in international youth competitions.
